A journey mixes exploration, practice, dialogue, and group work; teachers choose goals and materials. Feedback looks at the work itself: how students ask questions, use sources, connect ideas, and revise their answers. It helps the teacher decide what comes next; automated indicators always call for human review.

Set the goals
Define the knowledge and skills expected, the materials, and the observable evidence: what will show that a student has understood.

Combine dialogues with characters, resources, exercises with a mentor, and collaborative work, so that different students can explore and express ideas in different ways.

Read the feedback
Review answers and difficulties: participation and questions, use of sources, connections between concepts and disciplines, progress shown in revisions. Discuss them in class and adjust the journey.

A journey through scientific explanations
A class explores a science question through a text, a dialogue with a character, and small-group discussion. The teacher reviews the students’ explanations and decides whether to return to the sources or add another activity. A configurable journey, not a fixed curriculum.
